What an honor it has been for CHIEF to partner with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Earlier this week, Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of Chan Zuckerberg Science, their commitment to supporting scientific research to help cure, prevent and manage all diseases in our children’s lifetime. This effort is so much more than just funding (over $3 billion!) though. Chan Zuckerberg Science is a commitment of their time and dedication to grappling with these global problems.

This is the latest in our ongoing collaboration with CZI, building upon our overall CZI brand identity and website development, as well as the Primary School identity.

We are excited to share with you several creative pieces designed and produced with CZI that introduce Chan Zuckerberg Science and highlight their potential impact, including:

An original animation narrated by Priscilla and Mark demonstrating how far we have already come and why their goals for Chan Zuckerberg Science, while incredibly aspirational, are very possible.

Brand, identity and website design and development for the Biohub, Chan Zuckerberg Science’s first major initiative. Priscilla and Mark have invested $600 million in this effort, a first of its kind partnership between University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, San Francisco and Stanford University. Biohub is designed to find and invest in the brightest scientists and engineers while creating environments for true and free-flowing scientific collaboration.
