CHIEF is set to begin work with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) -- agencies with incredible missions and well-known brands that impact both American and global citizens. CHIEF brings full-service capabilities and unmatched creativity to the two separate and highly unique engagements.
As the sole awardee of a multi-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with NASA’s Applied Sciences Program, CHIEF will work to elevate the profile of and inspire new innovative and practical uses of Earth science data and knowledge. “CHIEF is excited to partner on communications, planning, and implementation services with NASA’s Applied Sciences Program, and we’re looking forward to amplifying the program’s reach among new and important organizations,” said Principal and Chief Performance Officer, Anuj Vedak. Access to the program’s data and resources enable thousands of organizations and businesses to inform strategic decision-making, ultimately strengthening economies worldwide and improving the public’s access to a variety of services. CHIEF will dive deep into the Applied Sciences Mission and provide a range of market research; website and media strategy, design, and implementation; training; events support; and communications activities.
CHIEF will work with NARA through a multiple award BPA to advance their mission to safeguard and provide unparalleled access to the official and historical records of the United States. CHIEF’s collaborative team is poised to support the Office of Innovation to support the NARA catalogs, presidential libraries, and Citizen Archivist initiatives, among others, through research and consultation, website and design support, API integration and mobile strategies, and more. “NARA has a hugely important responsibility in the preservation of documents, not to mention the complex challenge of evolving to meet the demands of an increasingly digitized world and evolving technology CHIEF is up to the challenge and incredibly excited to join this effort ” continued Vedak.
In addition to CHIEF’s newest awards, we are honored in receiving several awards for our recent NationalParks.org website redesign effort with the National Park Foundation. Our work has received significant recognition as an AAF DC Gold winner for Responsive Web Design, Horizon Interactive Award Best in Category award for Advocacy/Non-Profit website, as well as a Webby Awards honorable mention for Best Use of Photography.
