At CHIEF, we’re no strangers to change. We’ve gone from a two-person consultancy to a leading creative agency in DC with a team of over 120. Our office has grown from a single-computer workstation in a Maryland garage to modern hub of creative innovation in the heart of Dupont Circle. Over the past 30 years, our ability to evolve has defined us and inspired our mantra – BE BRAVE. We continually seek, embrace and embody change for our agency and industry.
That’s why we attend South By Southwest.
Also in its 30th year, SXSW is, in itself, a change maker. Ideas are born, companies are formed and thought leaders are discovered at this annual festival in Austin. Hailed as a “destination for discovery,” SXSW promotes the type of creative thinking that breaks ground and makes history. That spirit perfectly aligns with CHIEF’s goal of taking on challenges bigger than ourselves—challenges that make us push farther and dream bigger.
At SXSW, we are part of a passionate community of people working together to accelerate our industry and discover what’s next. We get to share ideas with and learn from some of the world’s most pioneering minds—people and brands that are working together to make positive change across industries and nations. Our annual party at SXSW brings together those doing brilliant work in DC and around the world, to celebrate their transformation effect and to make interesting connections to further that work.
To us, that feels pretty darn brave.
We can’t wait to see what SXSW has in store for us this year. Join the CHIEF team on our journey at the Interactive Festival by following along on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for a first-hand look at festival happenings and insights, and check out our SXSW digital hub—your one-stop shop for all things SXSW from CHIEF.
