A self-professed “word nerd,” Emily loves telling stories. So much so that she used to rewrite her favorite books as a child, has stopped and started more blogs than she can count and has been known to agonize for hours over a single word when crafting content.
In her role as a Content Strategist at CHIEF, Emily blends her deft problem-solving skills and her passion for the written word to help our clients elevate their content and achieve business objectives. When she’s not putting pen to paper, she enjoys spit-balling ideas to tap into hidden insights, especially when it comes to finding new ways to craft and organize content on websites.
Emily’s past life as political operative in Kentucky made her a true Jill-of-all-trades when it comes to strategic messaging, rolling with the punches and finding innovative ways to entertain herself on cross-country roadtrips. But hey, that’s all her story to tell.
Emily holds a BA in Government from Centre College.
Lexington, KY—The Horse and College Basketball Capital of the World.
It’s no secret I’m a National Park nerd; working on crossing off every park in the system thanks to my handy-dandy National Park Passport (and with 418, I’ve got a lot to go!). Notable favorite is Rocky Mountain National Park.
I made a pledge to read more women authors, and read both A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan and The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer in one sitting each.
I love my neighborhood—the H Street Corridor. The rich history, coupled with the great new restaurants, makes for an awesome place to live.
